Another magnificent wine, the 2014 Gevrey-Chambertin Aux Combottes is precise, linear and finely sculpted to the core. The flavors and textures are beautifully delineated throughout. Dark blue and purplish-hued stone fruit, lavender and mint are all pushed forward, but it is the wine's overall poise that is most impressive of all.
