Note di degustazione
The 2023 Barbera D’Alba is distinctive and bright, with refreshing notes of wild black raspberries, sweet herbs, violets, and some red-fruited highlights accenting the wine. Medium-bodied, it has an open and fruit punch-like ease, with fine tannins, crunchy freshness, and a clean finish. It was fermented in stainless steel in the cellar, followed by five months in Slavonian oak barrels. A focused and refreshing Barbera, it’s highly enjoyable now, and it will offer a good deal of pleasure over the coming 7-8 years. The majority of the wines for this report were tasted with Marta Rinaldi at the estate in Barolo.

The 2023 Barbera d'Alba is soft, open-knit and ready to go. Here, too, the lighter style of the year is very much in evidence. Rinaldi fans will find much to enjoy in this gracious, classically mid-weight Barbera.
