Opening in the glass with notes of citrus zest, pastry cream and white flowers, the 2019 Beaune Clos du Dessus des Marconnets Blanc is medium to full-bodied, bright and chalky, with excellent cut and grip. This is very promising.

The 2019 Beaune Clos du Dessus des Marconnets Blanc has a pleasant, wax-scented nose that shows touches of orange blossom and pineapple. The palate is fresh and vibrant thanks to a fine line of acidity. Taut and focused, and surprisingly tight, with a citric finish. Give it 2–3 years in bottle. Very promising.
