2022 Pernand Vergelesses Blanc Ile de Vergelesses

The 2023 Pernand-Vergelesses Blanc Île de Vergelesses 1er Cru comes from a parcel planted in the 1980s by Nadine de Nicolay toward the top of the hill. This has plenty of fresh Conference pear and white peachy scents on the nose, well defined and quite generous. The palate has a rounded texture and is slightly lower in acidity compared to other vintages. Pear and nectarine emerge toward the finish. Very seductive.
