Note di degustazione
The 2017 Beaune Les Theurons 1er Cru has a fleshy, ripe red cherry, raspberry and light tea leaf bouquet that unfurls nicely in the glass. The palate is showing a little more oak than its Beaune peers at the moment, although there is more substance and a touch more complexity, hints of black pepper and a tang of marmalade popping up on the finish. Excellent.

This was a strong showing for the 2017 Beaune 1er Cru Les Theurons (Domaine des Héritiers Jadot), a wine that offers up an attractive bouquet of plums, pomegranate, candied peel and spices. On the palate, it's medium-bodied, ample and generous, with a charming, open-knit profile and juicy balancing acids.
Shows a little more ripeness than some of the other sites in Beaune with ripe strawberries and flowers. Medium to full body, tight and firm structure and a clean and bright finish. Drink after 2022.
Cask sample. Pale rim on pale garnet. Just slightly sweaty on the nose. But very nice pure, sweet fruit on the palate. Rather luscious and easy to like. Sandpapery tannins on the end. (JR)

Louis Jadot is arguably the most consistent négociant house in Burgundy. It has managed to straddle both the entry-level and fine wine market, while retaining respect in both.
