Note di degustazione
A blend of 55% Merlot, 43% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 2% Cabernet Franc that spent 14 months in new and once-used French oak, the 2023 Echo De Lynch-Bages offers classic Pauillac notes of lead pencil, graphite, and ripe black fruits as well as an almost Graves-like smoked earth character. It's medium-bodied and balanced on the palate, with ripe, supple tannins and outstanding length. This is very much in the style of this ripe yet classic vintage. Drink 2026-2045.

The 2023 Echo de Lynch-Bages is soft, open-knit and quite tasty. This is an especially giving, soft Echo that will drink well with minimal cellaring, although it has the pedigree to age. There's a bit more Merlot in the blend this year, which may explain the wine's decidedly soft textural feel. This is nicely done.
The 2023 Echo de Lynch-Bages was bottled in May 2025. It has a generous bouquet with black cherries and blueberry fruit, quite forward in style. The palate is medium-bodied with a sweeter entry than expected, a keen line of acidity, pure and quite luscious in style, but it maintains precision on the finish. Just needs a few months in bottle and this will be ready to go.
Juicy and fine-grained, with racy, ripe strawberries, lightly baked currants and a touch of asphalt and roasted spices. Tight and nicely chewy, with medium body and lots of almost dusty tannins. Firm, fruit-forward finish. A blend of 55% merlot, 43% cabernet sauvignon and 2% cabernet franc. Drink from 2026.
