Note di degustazione
A Merlot-heavy blend of 55% Merlot and 45% Cabernet Sauvignon, the 2023 Moulin De Duhart is a forward, juicy, seductive effort showing ripe cherries, sappy flowers, spice, and some minerality. It's medium-bodied, beautifully balanced, has soft tannins, and is undeniably delicious. Drink this charming Pauillac over the coming 15 years. Drink 2026-2041.

The 2023 Moulin de Duhart is very aromatic. Crushed flowers, mint, spice, dried herbs, pine, sage and tobacco weave through a core of dark red/purplish fruit. This mid-weight, savory Pauillac is charming right out of the gate. It's everything a second wine should be.
The 2023 Moulin de Duhart has quite a refined bouquet with pure blackberry and raspberry fruit, the oak seamlessly integrated. The palate has slightly grainy tannins on the entry. Quite sharp with a dash of cracked black pepper toward the finish. Give this just a year in bottle.
This has a ton of Cabernet black cherry bud character, and signature Pauillac, generous, sappy, salted cracker, cassis and coca bean, firm tannic architecture and yet accessible. New winery since 2020/2021. Eric Kohler technical director.
