The 2023 Blanc Sec Doisy-Daëne is superb, a wine that immediately distinguishes itself from its peer group because of its textural density and complexity. Dried herbs, chalk, mint and lemon oil are some of the notes that build into the pure, crystalline finish.

The 2023 Sec from Doisy Daene is 100% Sauvignon Blanc. It springs from the glass with vibrant notes of white peaches, grapefruit oil, and lime leaves, with a hint of wet slate. The light to medium-bodied palate is refreshing and lively, with a zesty finish.
The 2023 Grand Vin Sec has a very expressive bouquet, demonstrating more intensity than its peers. Light peachy and lemon rind scents are front and center. The palate is taut, fresh and quite malic in style due to the 100% Sauvignon Blanc, touches of pear and white pepper emerging toward the vibrant finish. This is a bit of livewire…but I like that.
The 2023 Blanc Sec is stellar and also one of the most distinctive whites of the year. Rich, layered and super-expressive, the Blanc Sec possesses exceptional pedigree and structure. Dried apricot, lemon peel, sage and dried flowers build effortlessly in the glass. The 2023 is seriously intense, yet nothing whatsoever is out of place. It is also an absolute steal. Fabulous.
