The 2021 Aloxe-Corton Village, which was taken from tank, has mulberry and marmalade scents. It's a little rustic and maybe missing the focus of Faure's other cuvées. The palate is medium-bodied with soft tannins, just lacking some backbone on the finish. The jury is out at the moment.
