2022 Chassagne Montrachet Morgeot

Cask sample. Quite a different style to the Meursault with a more rugged character on the palate. A bit jagged in comparison with the smooth, creamy Meursault but there is lots to like here. Hint of lime zest adds a touch of bitterness to the finish which is appetising and adds freshness. (AWH)
