A layered, silky Brunello, the 2007 impresses for its seductive, resonant personality and total class. This harmonious, impeccable wine is one of the better Brunellos I have tasted from Sesti over the years. Like many Riservas, the 2007 looks to be built for near and mid-term drinking. Still, it is gorgeous.

Just mid ruby with very broad orange rim. Quite developed on the nose and palate, and very round and ripe on the palate. Acidity just about manages to keep the tension. (WS)
