2009 La Gioia

Riecine's 2009 La Gioia is an IGT Toscana expression of Sangiovese from Gaiole-in-Chianti. This is a very attractive wine that opens to dark tones and bright aromatic intensity. The bouquet is redolent of dark berry fruit, plum, spice, cola, leather and balsam herb. The wine's complexity is not to be underestimated and its aromas continue to evolve as the wine takes on more air in the glass. Because La Gioia is released long after the harvest, it is ready to enjoy now. It could also be aged a bit longer.
