The 2020 Bourgogne Hautes-Côtes de Beaune Clos de la Perrière is perfumed and exotic, bursting with aromas of sweet berries and plums mingled with rose petals, incense and Indian spices. Medium to full-bodied, supple and seamless, with a sweet core of fruit, ripe, powdery tannins and lively acids, it concludes with a saline finish. Once again, this numbers among the very best reds produced in the Hautes-Côtes.

The 2020 Bourgogne Hautes-Côtes de Beaune Clos de la Perrière Blanc comes from seven-year old vines. Light grapefruit and orange pith aromas on the nose, the palate is well balanced with a fine bead of acidity, good weight even if it just needs a little more mineralité on the finish.
