Antinori have 250 ha of Syrah in this region of Tuscany, next to Vino Nobile . No whole bunch. Aged for 18 months in oak (100% new). Plush, modern vanilla sweetness on the nose. Rich fruit on the palate, very soft tannins, loads of primary fruit and a rich, milk-chocolate finish. (RH)

I find it hard to get excited about the 2013 Syrah Bramasole. The dark, pruney, chocolatey flavors and overripe character aren't especially interesting.
