2000 Castello del Terriccio

The 2000 Terriccio, a new wine in the line, is an unusual blend of Syrah and other grapes usually used to supply tannins and color such as Petit Verdot, Tannat, and Mourvedre. Black as ink, sweet and balsamic in aroma, with lavish notes of roasted fruit and chocolate, its intense and focused flavors, solidity, depth, and power on the finish make it something new and original in the current Tuscan picture.
