The 2020 Blagny La Pièce Sous La Bois 1er Cru is very refined on the nose with perfumed red cherries, crushed strawberry and wild rose petal that blossom in the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins, fleshy red cherries and strawberry, still with some new oak to be assimilated on the finish though that will be soaked up in time. A priori, afford this 3-5 years in bottle before broaching.
