Note di degustazione
Early precipitation of phenolics and quite a warm ferment is the BP&F way of making white wines. Longer élevage nowadays, 15–16 months. Distinctively rich. And with real savour and grip. Assertive! Beginning, middle and end. (JR)

Oatmeal, flint and rich orchard fruit, with a taut, minerally palate. Creamy length. Fine. (TJ)
The 2018 Meursault Les Gouttes d’Or 1er Cru comes from 0.60 hectares of vine, one of the last to be picked. It has a finely tuned bouquet of fresh pear, walnut and orange zest aromas that are commendably detailed. The palate is well balanced with crisp acidity and nicely focused, revealing pretty apricot and white peach notes toward a finish that is surfeit with comeliness, though less in the way of mineralité .
Revealing aromas of white flowers, pear, citrus oil and blanched almonds, the 2018 Meursault 1er Cru Les Gouttes d'Or is medium to full-bodied, satiny and elegant, its delicately textural profile underpinned by lively acids.
