Round, rich and decadent, this Premier Cru is a blend of fruit from Clos St Jean and Chenevottes. Now with a few years in bottle, this has rounded out, enticing with aromas of sweet Alphonso mango and creamy, full-fat vanilla ice-cream. It’s lush and generous, almost viscous with the weight of fruit, yet its lavishness is reined in by a pithy line of acidity and lick of vibrant lemon posset. Long and balanced, yet unashamedly full-on, this is gorgeous.
