Vibrant aromas of lemon and lime ice. Juicy and bright but less pliant than the Grands Charrons. Sharply chiseled and brisk but a bit severe today, showing a pronounced citrus character in the style of the year. In contrast to the Grands Charrons, this relatively tight wine calls for a few years of patience.

Nervy, smoky nose and really rather sinewy – but far from cheap! Good stuff though. Chalky finish – impressive persistence. (JR)
The 2014 Meursault Village les Tessons has quite a striking bouquet in the making with pure orange cordial scents on the nose that are well defined. The palate is slightly waxy on the entry with pear and nectarine, nicely structured with a touch of salinity towards the composed finish that will need a couple of years in bottle to fully unfold. It Jean-Marc Roulot's Tessons is beyond your means, then this is a superb alternative.
