The 2018 Meursault 1er Cru Blagny (Maison) exhibits aromas of citrus oil, crisp green pear and white flowers, followed by a medium to full-bodied, supple and charming palate that's elegantly textural and rounded, concluding with an enlivening mineral finish.

Barrel sample. Spicy pear and citrus on the nose. The oak quite obvious at the moment in vanilla and spice (all the Faiveley whites are still in barrel). Creamy and rounded in the mouth. Gentle, smooth and yet fresh enough. Spicy aftertaste. (JH)
