Punteggio 90/100 · Da bere 2023-2035, Neal Martin, Dec 2020

The 2018 Gevrey-Chambertin Les Seuvrées has an attractive bouquet with brambly red berry fruit, hints of undergrowth and cola. The palate is medium-bodied with grippy tannins, finely balanced with touches of truffle and bitter cherry towards the finish. Fine energy here in context of the growing season but it needs time.

Punteggio 90-92/100 · Da bere 2022-2035, Neal Martin, Jan 2020

The 2018 Gevrey-Chambertin Les Seuvrées, which includes 20% whole bunch, has a well-defined bouquet of perfumed cranberry and raspberry fruit, undergrowth and light black pepper aromas. The palate is well balanced and quite pure in style, hints of blue fruit intermingling with red toward the lightly spiced, nuanced finish. Give it a couple of years in bottle and it will turn into a fine Gevrey to drink over 12–15 years.
