2019 Savigny Les Beaune Fourneaux

The second iteration of a new cuvée blending communal and premier cru holdings in this climat together, the 2019 Savigny-lès-Beaune Les Fourneaux crusts from the glass with aromas of sweet berries, peonies, spices and soil tones. Medium-bodied, supple and lively, with a sweet core of fruit, melting tannins and a saline finish, it's a charming, giving Savigny that was bottled shortly before I tasted it.
