Note di degustazione
The 2018 Argentiera has a more floral profile aromatically. From a vintage that saw some rain in the spring, lending good water reserve into the warm summer, cooler winds slowed ripening, making it difficult for the fruit to reach maturity. This vintage is a little slower to show itself in the glass before revealing more mineral-inflected aromas of dusty earth, blackberry, violets, mint, and polished leather. The palate is all about finesse and elegance, with fine tannins, a pretty and fruity mid-palate, and floral and gentle mineral notes lasting on the finish. While it has a rounded mouthfeel, it’s more lightweight in its feel overall. It offers more immediacy in terms of its drinking window, but it should hold on well over the next 15 or so years.

Aromas of plums and berries with some chocolate and vanilla undertones. Full-bodied and layered with soft tannins that are bright at the end. Currants and blackberries. Currant bush, too. Love the tannin texture to this. Drink in 2025.
This polish and beauty to this wine is really impressive with blackberry, chocolate and walnut character. Full body. Refined and intense at the finish. Excellent composition to this wine.
