Gentle pressing then vinified and matured for 15 months in oak barrels (one-third new). Poached pears and baked vanilla with a hint of cinnamon. Primary, youthful and glossy on the palate. Builds in weight and structure, with good acidity and a light, integrated smokiness. Density and with a chalky, rich finish. (TP)
