Cariñena takes heat quite well, 2014 was slightly warmer than 2013, and the 2014 Dits del Terra behaved quite well, even in this south-facing vineyard in a slightly warmer place between Torroja and Gratallops. The 2014s were bottle slightly earlier, as he wanted more vibrant wine and felt the longer élevage resulted in slightly oxidative wines, which is something he likes and seeks for whites, but does not like for reds. As I've seen with other 2014s, there are abundant, young, fine-grained tannins here. 4,600 bottles were produced and filled in late June 2016.

Created by Dominik Huber and Eben Sadie in 2001, Terroir al Limit works with old vines and minimal intervention to make a fresher style of Priorat. Now made exclusively by Dominik Huber, its top wines are the single-site Cariñena Les Tosses and Garnacha Les Manyes.
