2019 Maranges Croix Moines

The 2019 Maranges Le Croix Moines 1er Cru is completely destemmed with 15% new oak. It has an attractive nose of blueberry and blackberry fruit, light floral notes and a touch of Indian ink. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins, fresh on the entry, with a noticeable marine influence that defines the compact finish. Almost understated considering the vintage. Give it 3–4 years in bottle.
