The 2019 Morey Saint-Denis En La Rue Vergy Blanc has a well defined nose of honeysuckle and peach skin. Well balanced on the palate, it has a fine bead of acidity, fresh and long, with a detailed finish. Delightful, if not long-term.

The 2018 Morey Saint-Denis En la Rue Vergy Blanc is more resinous on the nose than its peers and demands coaxing from the glass. The palate is showing some CO2 at the moment, but there is great energy here, leading to an orange zest and apricot-tinged finish.
