Two years in botti and one in bottle. Pale brick-garnet. Super-mellow, broad, subtle old-leather and demerara notes, with rocky mineral notes and dried red fruit. Fresh acidity, balsamic, old tea and dried cherry. Mature, with firm tannins that are taking on some polish. Nice, perfumed, long finish. (TJ)

Pale brick-garnet, with a delicately floral nose that needs coaxing from the glass, but gives plenty of rose, mint and almond nut over wild-strawberry fruit. Very elegant aromatics that are matched by a subtlety of tannins and fresh acidity, to give a relative delicacy to the palate. I’d like a touch more length to the perfume, but this is quite fine.
