Note di degustazione
Concentrated lively ruby with orange rim. Seems more marked by oak than the 1995, but has the same hallmark spiciness and refreshing acidity of previous vintages. Great palate weight and quite powerful, grainy tannin. A little dry on the finish, but lots of fine, red, succulent fruit too. (WS)

Ruby-garnet, with black tones. Expressive, penetrating aromas of fresh berry fruit. Rich and voluptuous in flavor; sweet cassis accompanied by light sensations of herbs and oak. Quite concentrated but velvety in texture. A very well-balanced, poised wine with supple tannins.
Informazioni sul produttore

Literally translating as “beautiful oak”, Querciabella was created in 1974 by Giuseppe Castiglioni. A pioneer in Chianti, he started farming biodynamically and experimenting with both varieties and winemaking – one result of which was Camartina, the property’s flagship Super Tuscan.
