Note di degustazione
Bright, deep red. Red fruits and truffley underbrush on the inviting nose. Creamy-sweet, fat and seamless but with noteworthy energy (from the whole-cluster vinification?) giving lift and definition to the middle palate. Finishes with substantial fine, dusty tannins and excellent length. A strong showing.

More delicate on the nose than the Marconnets. Sweet red fruit. All round more gentle and subtle than their Clos du Dessus des Marconnets. Firm but finely textured.(JH)
(thin soil over rock on a steep slope; vines planted in 1964) Aromas of black cherry, leather and bitter chocolate, lifted by a floral element. Sweet, creamy, fine-grained and quite suave; ripe, broad and plump, showing no greenness from vinification with the stems. In fact, this is already very accessible thanks to its low acidity. These vines were harvested on September 20 with 13.2% potential alcohol. Excellent potential here. Incidentally, these three wines have been in vat for two weeks.
