Note di degustazione
The 2018 Chevalier-Montrachet Clos des Chevaliers Grand Cru has a perfumed nose, with touches of white peach and orange blossom, perhaps just missing the mineralité of the best wines in this flight. The palate is well balanced with quite a sharp entry. There is racy acidity here that counterbalances the weight and concentration of this Grand Cru. Touches of ginger furnish the finish with fine length. This is a very capable Chevalier-Montrachet. Tasted blind at the Burgfest 2018 white tasting.

The 2018 Chevalier-Montrachet Grand Cru Clos des Chevaliers has turned out brilliantly, mingling scents of orange oil, fresh peach and ripe Meyer lemon with hints of pastry cream and freshly baked bread. Full-bodied, satiny and enveloping, it's bright and incisive, with a deep core of fruit, racy acids and a long, mineral finish.
The 2018 Chevalier-Montrachet Clos de Chevaliers Grand Cru has a wonderful, engaging bouquet with yellow flowers, jasmine and flinty aromas; subtle praline aromas surface with aeration. You could nose this all day! The well-balanced palate displays fine poise and focus, offering veins of white peach intermixed with white chocolate and almond before the citrus core takes hold of the steering wheel on the finish. This is a multifaceted Chevalier-Montrachet that should give many years of drinking pleasure. Six barrels produced.
