2016 Coste della Sesia Uvaggio

The 2016 Uvaggio is gorgeous. Bright, effusive and chiseled, the 2016 is so expressive today. Crushed rose petal, red berry fruit, blood orange and spice are all brightened by lively acids and beams of supporting tannin. I am blown away by how fresh the 2016 is at five years of age. A wine of unreal beauty and pure class, the Uvaggio can be enjoyed today or cellared for a decade, maybe more. It sure is impressive.
