Note di degustazione
This south-facing vineyard is on a gentle slope with clay and limestone soils. The 2021 is a pretty Pinot Noir – with a nose of chalky minerals and parma violets. The palate is silky and charming, all about its elegance and purity – but it firms up on the finish with an almost ferrous, smoky minerality.

The 2021 Savigny-lès-Beaune Les Lavières 1er Cru showed a little reduction on the nose, a mélange of red and black fruit, a hint of pain d'épices . The palate is well balanced with a supple, fruity opening, almost pastille-like with dark cherries, cassis and vanilla pod, smooth and quite sensual on the finish. Excellent.
Aromas of red berries mingled with rose petals, baking spices and orange zest introduce the 2021 Savigny-lès-Beaune 1er Cru Les Lavières, a medium to full-bodied, supple and seamless wine that's lively and elegant, representing another fine rendition of a cuvée that's a perennial sleeper chez Bouchard.
