This is full of lush, bright red fruit and crushed-chalk freshness. There’s a rusticity to its texture currently, the tannins just a little rough against the fruit, but it’s vibrant and precise, with redcurrant acidity beautifully integrated. The oak stands out a little at present, but will integrate with time.
