Note di degustazione
Exhibiting aromas of pear, citrus zest, green apple, fresh mint and buttery pastry, the 2020 Meursault Meix Chavaux is a touch fleshier and more textural than the Vireuils. Medium to full-bodied, satiny and nicely concentrated, it's girdled by bright acids and concludes with a saline finish.

The 2020 Meursault Meix Chavaux is bright and steely right out of the gate. Like the Vireuils, it is airy and understated in bearing, but it also comes across as a bit leaner and more tense. Deeper soils here vis-à-vis Vireuils might lead one to the conclusion the Meix Chavaux should be richer, but it’s actually not, as the soils are abundant in limestone. (Tasted by Antonio Galloni)
