Cask sample. Pure and chiselled with a core of bright fruit. Just a light not e of bitterness on the finish. Correct but there's just a slight lack of fruit on the end. (JR)

The 2020 Saint-Aubin Le Charmois 1er Cru has quite a compact nose, gradually unfurling with white flower and wax resin aromas. The palate is well balanced with good weight. Quite a concentrated Saint-Aubin, Chassagne-like, with a slightly honeyed finish. Delicious, but not sure how long-term this will be.
