One of the more structured wines in the range is the 2019 Aloxe-Corton 1er Cru Les Fournières. Unwinding in the glass with notes of raspberries, licorice, smoked meats and loamy soil, it's medium to full-bodied, bright and lively, with fine but chalky tannins and a tightly wound core. This will merit and reward a bit of patience.
