The 2019 Pommard Epenots 1er Cru comes across a little volatile on the nose, and that means it loses some focus and delineation. The palate is medium-bodied and savory. There is evidence of some Brettanomyces here and a feral finish. Tasted blind at the Burgfest tasting.
