The 2017 Avvoltore, Morisfarms' Sangiovese/Cabernet Sauvignon/Syrah blend, is terrific. Effusive in its aromatics, Avvoltore shows tremendous class. Like all of these wines, it seems to also show a bit more freshness than in the past, which is great, as this part of Tuscany provides plenty of richness on its own.
