2020 Meursault Les Perrieres

The 2020 Meursault Les Perrières 1er Cru has a perfumed bouquet with white flowers and walnut oil infusing the yellow fruit. There's fine delineation and focus. The palate is well-balanced with a sapid entry, fresh and crisp, with shucked oyster shells defining the finish, which is precisely what I want when it comes to this Premier Cru. Lingering wonderfully on the finish, this is a deeply impressive Meursault. Tasted blind at the annual Burgfest tasting.
