The 2020 Clos de Vougeot Grand Cru is laden with dark cherries, damson on the nose and very fruit-forward, but I feel at the expense of terroir expression. The palate is quite candied on the entry, powerful and demonstrative. Though the fruit profile is attractive, I think this is just a bit overwhelming and needs to show more restraint.
