2020 Meursault Les Perrieres

The 2020 Meursault Perrières 1er Cru has much more presence than the Santenots, lifted scents of grilled hazelnut and pine nuts, a touch of smoke, becoming increasingly spicy in style. The palate is well balanced with a fine bead of acidity, good weight and concentration, though I am seeking more Perrières’ DNA on the finish, more stoniness/flintiness. Attractive though.
