Note di degustazione
The 2020 Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru has a light, fresh bouquet with pressed white flowers, white linen and light peachy aromas. The palate is well balanced with fine acidity, quite taut for a Corton-Charlemagne, certainly one of the better Bichot whites with more mineralit on the finish. This should age well. Closure: Diam

TA (sulphuric) 3.85 g/l, TA (tartaric) 5.89 g/l, pH 3.25. 15 months' ageing, 30% new oak. Cask sample. This could almost be mistaken for the Chablis Grand Cru. Restrained nose. Pebbly/mineral palate. Lime zest adds complexity to the light peach/green-apple fruit. Stony finish with depth and length. Will age very well. (AWH) 13.6%
From Les Languettes. Glowing fresh yellow, with plenty of energy and a light overlay of oak. Theres a lot going on here. Superbly concentrated without being overly weighty, good acidity, this Corton-Charlemagne is in a fairly bombastic rather than lightly stony style.
