The serious Les Chaumées Premier Cru has an attractive and fresh nose with notes of yellow Japanese plums and florals. The palate is rich and powerful, with a lovely buttery texture on the mid-palate. The long and balanced finish is driven by pure minerality – but a touch of brioche comes as a most pleasant surprise. This will age gracefully over the next decade.
