The 2019 Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru is broad and textural, offering up aromas of honeyed orchard fruit, freshly baked bread, buttery pastry and white flowers, followed by a full-bodied, layered and enveloping palate that's lively and penetrating, concluding with a saline finish.

A mix of Le Charlemagne and Languettes. Very pale lemon colour. The nose shows a little bit of fresh melon and honeysuckle, more floral than heavy, nicely balanced, lemon scented behind, still floral, never heavyweight but with a tensile strength and good length.
