Punteggio 94/100 · Da bere 2025-2039, William Kelley, Wine Advocate, Dec 2025

The 2019 Meursault 1er Cru Les Perrières is already beginning to drink well, unwinding in the glass with a gently reductive bouquet of crisp green orchard fruit, white peach, flowers and citrus zest. Medium- to full-bodied, satiny and seamless, it's taut and racy, with lovely plenitude, concluding with a long, saline finish.

Punteggio 87/100 · Da bere 2025-2033, Neal Martin, Dec 2023

The 2019 Meursault Les Perrières 1er Cru has a reductive, eggy nose that obscures any sense of terroir expression. The palate is sour on the entry. It's a rather monotone wine that fails to translate where it comes from. The bottle is a failure here, rather than the wine. Tasted blind at the annual Burgfest tasting.

The 2019 Meursault Les Perrières 1er Cru comes from two parcels, one close to Coche-Dury. One plot was planted in 1975 in Les Perrières-Dessus and the other is of similar age with a lot of degenerated vines that are very low-yielding. This has an intense bouquet of yellow plum, citrus lemon, lime and crushed stone, nicely focused, although the Genevrières has a bit more charm. The palate is medium-bodied with a well-defined entry, tropical tones of pineapple and passion fruit leading toward a generous finish that might not deliver the stone-cold mineralité of its finest exponents, but has a pleasant sharpness and spiciness. It should age well over the next 20 years.
