2019 Beaune Cent Vignes

The 2019 Beaune Les Cents Vignes 1er Cru, which includes 25% stem addition, has quite a distinctive, sea spray and oyster shell bouquet, plenty of dark berry fruit, and hints of kelp emerging with time. The palate is beautifully balanced and streamlined with a fine bead of acidity. Not powerful, almost understated in style, leading to a finely tuned, minerally finish. Not great length, but it is a beautiful Beaune.
