Note di degustazione
Very ripe nose dominated by nutty oak. Fat, round and voluminous, with plenty of nutty Meursault character and an impression of low acidity. Today I don't find quite the cut of the Tillets but this offers very good texture and length.

Buttered popcorn is found in the nose of the light to medium-bodied, satin-textured 2003 Meursault Les Tessons (white). Creamed white fruits, spices, and candied lemons are found in its fresh attack as well as mid-palate before it tightens on a note of acidity in the finish. It should be enjoyed over the next 3-4 years. Importer: Kermit Lynch Wine Merchant, Berkeley, CA; tel. (510) 524-1524; and Parliament Wine Co., Atlantic City, NJ; tel. (609) 348-1100
Aromatically complex nose melds citrus skin and hazelnut oil. Fat, sweet and rich, with classic Meursault notes of grilled nuts, oatmeal and vanilla. This seems less marked by the vintage than the Luchets. Or perhaps there's simply more depth of buffering material to carry the alcohol. Finishes chewy and strong, with the nut and meal elements carrying through on the end.
