The 2018 Saint-Aubin La Princée is showing well, opening in the glass with aromas of citrus zest, white flowers and crisp Anjou pear. Medium to full-bodied, elegantly textural and precise, it's saline and incisive, Lamy observing that some two-thirds of this parcel is decidedly cool and windy.

The 2018 Saint-Aubin La Princée comes from ten separate parcels and at the time of my visit it felt a little reduced on the nose. The promising palate offers pineapple and green apple notes, nice weight in the mouth and a bright, smooth-textured finish. Fine.
