Just above La Chatenière. Very calcareous. Tank sample. A little more obvious oak here in spice and cedar but not intrusive. Really intense fruit, more green fruits than citrus. Tight and coiled but generous in fruit. Not as long as some but all in balance. (JH)

Here the nose is quite firmly reduced so I would recommend decanting it for a few minutes first if you're tempted to try a bottle upon release. There is excellent precision to the intense but not especially dense medium weight flavors that possess a wonderfully textured mouthfeel that carries over to the clean, dry and impressively complex finish. This is lovely and harmonious though note that my rating assumes that the nose will clean up with a few years of bottle age.
